InfoPlus.21 as the key to tracking and managing process plant data

InfoPlus.21 is a robust information management system from AspenTech® that transforms data into meaningful information, making it accessible for real-time decision-making. By improving the flow of process data plant-wide, InfoPlus.21 helps companies enhance productivity, increase business flexibility and streamline operations.

InfoPlus.21 is a process data historian as well as a special information platform with direct record access via search tree technology that also provides applications development and systems integration capabilities. Its real-time database enables customers to access defined records and data structures and conduct event-driven data collection for utilization in advanced applications. Its inherent modularity and scalability enable InfoPlus.21 to support advanced control and optimization, process modeling, batch analysis, quality assurance and scheduling applications in industries ranging from consumer packaged goods to industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, food and refining.

InfoPlus.21 is used in manufacturing and process environments for environmental compliance history; operator interfacing; batch monitoring and analysis; engineering analysis interface; management information; and SPC/SQC. InfoPlus.21 also provides the platform for implementing a variety of AspenTech online process control and optimization applications, including the DMCplus® multivariable controller, Batch.21® batch information management system and Aspen Multivariate® process monitoring, analysis and fault-detection application.

In complex data environments, InfoPlus.21 provides an integrated solution for visualization and control of process information. InfoPlus.21 effectively links the plant floor with production management systems and seamlessly integrates real-time and historical information to present a unified view of plant operations. Through its integration with supply chain and ERP systems, InfoPlus.21 helps process manufacturers improve the flow of information plant-wide. InfoPlus.21 functions as the "interchange" between these systems and provides detailed plant operations information to plant managers and engineers-information that ultimately yields improved engineering workflow processes and control strategies (e.g., to prevent upsets, increase capacity or simplify environmental regulation compliance), as well as enhanced decision support, customer service, cost-efficiencies and operating performance.
