Hyperion present in the ME Petrotech 2008

Hyperion and their customers showcase results for engineering studies and dynamic simulators
Athens, Greece. 1st June 2008. Hyperion Systems Engineering Ltd., the leading independent Operator Training Simulator supplier and provider of lump-sum turn-key solutions and services to the process industries worldwide, announced their participation in 6th Middle East Refining and Petrochemicals Conference that took place in Bahrain, 25-28 May 2008.
Petrotech 2008 attracted high profile participation from leading companies in oil, gas and petrochemicals.
Hyperion presented two papers on the benefits obtained from high-fidelity multi-purpose dynamic simulation, based on Hyperion’s recent delivery of engineering studies and operator training simulators for customers in the Gulf region. Hyperion together with their clients presented recent projects that described how:
- The results obtained for a series of compressor and steam boiler engineering studies for an Aramco gas plant in Saudi Arabia helped increase plant reliability and helped optimize performance.
- Training simulators for Luberef refineries in Saudi Arabia helped with the “hot cut-over” of a new control system and improved operations.
