Hyperion has delivered an Operator Training Simulator (OTS) at Lyondell Chemicals, France

Hyperion Systems Engineering Ltd., the leading independent OTS supplier provides high quality custom made solutions and services to process industries worldwide, has announced that in collaboration with AspenTech, Hyperion has successfully delivered a high fidelity, real-time custom-built operator training system that matches the dynamic behavior of the plant units and their associated control systems including the emergency shutdown system.
Hyperion has built the models, integrated them with the DCS, generated the Instructor graphics, built and integrated Triconex (ESD) and has participated in the FAT with the clients.
Hyperion has provided maintenance and support services to Lyondell including additional training and updates and modifications to the simulation model as a result Lyondell has a high quality Operator Training Simulator to improve engineering decisions concerning equipment investments as well as effective operability and safety.
